Choosing which exemptions to accept
When you apply for exemptions, you will be presented with the maximum exemptions that you are eligible for. It's not essential to take all of the exemptions that are offered to you.
You should carefully consider which exemptions to choose. Making the correct decision up-front will ensure you don't pay for exemptions that you might need to forfeit later.
Forfeiting existing exemptions
If you have already received exemptions but want to forfeit these, then you submit an exemption forfeit application.
University of London Bsc in Professional Accountancy
In order to be eligible you must pass with ACCA, the Financial Reporting, Taxation, and Audit and Assurance exams. Should you have an exemption for any of these exams, you will need to forfeit the exemption and pass the exam with ACCA.
Students will not be able to forfeit any exemption if they have already passed a Strategic Professional exam.
Forfeited exemptions cannot be reclaimed
Please note that once you choose to forfeit an exemption, it cannot be reinstated later. Make sure you’re confident in your decision before proceeding.
Exemption fees and refund policy
Exemption fees are non-refundable. If your exemptions were awarded more than 14 days ago, you will not receive a refund when the exemptions are forfeited.
