Performance objectives consist of three parts:
- Description – a clear outline of what you need to achieve.
- Elements – five elements you'll need to complete.
- Statement – your opportunity to summarise and reflect on your work.
Completing your objectives
Your reflective statement should clearly demonstrate how you’ve met each element, so your supervisor can judge whether you’ve reached the required standard. If your supervisor feels any element is incomplete or your statement falls short of the required standard, they won’t be able to approve your objective. To avoid delays, please check all the criteria carefully before submitting your work for approval.
Statement help
We've created a factsheet on How to write performance objective statements to help you and your supervisor.
