After the upload of student details and the analysis of pass rates for each ACCA exam session taught, an ALP will fall into one of the following categories:

Category

Descriptor and action required

Pass rate targets met

ALP has met the pass rate targets – no action required

Stage 1

ALP has failed pass rate targets for 1 combined exam session

(i.e. March + June or September + December)

At this point, a Results Action Plan must be completed in conjunction with a member of the local market team. The Results Action plan should list all the necessary interventions to improve student candidate numbers and pass rates.

Stage 2

ALP has failed pass rate targets for 2 combined sessions.
(i.e. March + June and September + December)

The previously created Results Action Plan should be revisited with a member of the local market team to strengthen the interventions already in place to improve student candidate numbers and pass rates.

Stage 3

ALP has failed pass rate targets for 3 combined exam sessions (i.e. a total of 6 exam sessions).

Accreditation team will downgrade a Platinum ALP to Gold or remove Gold ALPs altogether.
