Processing time for your application
It normally takes around three to five working days for us to assess an exemption application.
You can review your application progress from your MyACCA account. This is also where you will be able to see any updates from our team and view your application outcome when this is finalised.
Why some applications may take longer
In some cases, assessing your exemption application could take longer than the usual 3 to 5 days. This can happen if your qualification isn’t listed in the exemption calculator database, or if we need to contact your institution for information. We appreciate your patience during this time.

To avoid delays, please ensure that all required documents have been submitted with your application. Missing or incomplete information can slow down the review process.
External reviews and what to expect
If we need to contact an external body for information, we’ll aim to keep you informed. This process can take several weeks, as response times from external institutions can vary. We will keep you informed via MyACCA portal updates.
Busy periods may affect response times
We receive a high volume of exemption applications in the lead-up to exam entry deadlines. If you’re applying during this time, our response may take a little longer than usual. Rest assured, we’re working hard to process every application as quickly as we can.
