Once you've found a practical experience supervisor, you'll need to enter their details against the relevant employer and role in your online MyExperience record.
Adding a supervisor
To add a supervisor:
- Log in to MyACCA
- Select My qualification
- Select Employment from the top of the page
- Click on the job role you wish to add a supervisor to
- Select Add new supervisor
You'll be asked to provide the following information about your supervisor:
- Full name
- Job title
- Email address (ensure it’s correct so they receive your invitation.)
- Your relationship to the supervisor, including their IFAC status (if applicable).
There are small help icons next to each section to confirm what each section and relationship means. If you enter any of your supervisor's details incorrectly, you'll be able to amend them and send an updated invite to them.
What happens next
Once you’ve added your supervisor’s details, they’ll receive an email inviting them to:
- Agree to act as your supervisor.
- Review the information you’ve provided.
- Upload their IFAC qualification details (if applicable).
- Register as your supervisor—if they’re not yet an ACCA member, they’ll be assigned an ACCA ID when they complete registration.
You cannot submit any time claims or performance objectives to a practical experience supervisor until they have registered and linked with your account.
