- Contact details for two referees
- A submitted case
Essay requirements
The judging panel will select five winning essays that are both inspiring and demonstrate how the scholarship will make a genuine difference to the applicant.
In your essay, consider explaining:
- How the scholarship will support your career development
- How it will enable you to contribute to your local community
- How it will help you promote or strengthen the accounting profession in your country
- How it will assist you in achieving ACCA membership
Your essay should be personal, sincere and focused on how the scholarship will help you realise your full potential.
References
You must include details for two referees who can comment on your academic ability or professional conduct.
For each referee, please provide:
- Full name
- Email address
- Relationship to you
Submitting your application
When contacting us, please attach:
- Your essay
- The contact details of your two referees
You should also confirm that, if successful, you agree to your profile being used by ACCA for publicity purposes.
What happens next
After the application deadline, the judging panel will review all submissions and select five winners whose essays best demonstrate both merit and need.
If you are successful
If you are selected, ACCA will contact you directly. Scholarship benefits, including coverage of exam and subscription fees, will then be applied in line with the terms of the award.
