Joining - Joining ACCA from the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA)

Eligibility criteria
 

If you're a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA), you can apply for ACCA membership if you meet the following eligibility criteria:

• You have completed the HKICPA’s full Qualification Programme in Hong Kong.
• You have a minimum of three years’ relevant accountancy experience gained under an authorised employer or supervisor that complies with HKICPA’s practical experience framework.
• You have not been subject to any adverse disciplinary findings and there is no pending complaint or investigation against you.

Supporting documentation

With your application, you must provide a letter from HKICPA (issued within the last two months) confirming the following information:

• You have completed the HKICPA’s Qualification Programme in full in Hong Kong and satisfied the HKICPA’s practical experience requirement.
• You are in good standing e.g. there have been no adverse disciplinary findings or open investigations or complaints.
