You can find guidance below on how to transfer to ACCA from different entry points.
If you are currently a student or graduate of FIA, you can request to transfer to the ACCA Qualification if you:
- Meet the minimum entry requirements based on the country where your academic qualifications were awarded (link to minimum entry page) or;
- Have completed the following three FIA exams:
- Foundations in Business and Technology (FBT)
- Management Accounting (FMA)
- Financial Accounting (FFA)
Students that are resident in Pakistan, Bangladesh, or Kenya must have either:
- Met the minimum entry requirements based on the country where your academic qualifications were awarded (link to minimum entry page) or;
- Have completed the following seven FIA exams:
- Recording Financial Transactions (FA1)
- Management Information (MA1)
- Maintaining Financial Records (FA2)
- Managing Costs and Finance (MA2)
- Foundations in Business and Technology (FBT)
- Management Accounting (FMA)
- Financial Accounting (FFA) and;
- Have completed Foundations in Professionalism if you are resident in Kenya.
Please note, if you have passed or been exempted from FBT, FMA, and FFA, you will receive free exemptions from the equivalent exams upon transferring to the ACCA Qualification.
To request to transfer to the ACCA Qualification, please complete the transfer application form. There is no fee to transfer to ACCA from FIA.
Advanced Diploma in Finance and Business (Russian) (ADFBR) Students and holders
If you are currently a student or holder of the Advanced Diploma in Finance and Business (Russian) you will automatically meet the minimum entrance requirements for the ACCA Qualification.
If you have passed or been granted an exemption from Introduction to Finance & Business (IFB), you will receive free exemptions from the following ACCA exams upon transferring:
- Business and Technology (BT)
- Management Accounting (MA)
- Financial Accounting (FA)
Any exams that you have passed or been exempted from for Corporate and Business Law (LW), Performance Management (PM), Taxation (TX), Finance Reporting (FR), Audit Assurance (AA), and Financial Management (FM) will continue to be recognised after your transfer.

Если вы сдали экзамен IFB или получили освобождение от него, вы получите бесплатные освобождения от BT, MA и FA.

Diploma in International Financial Reporting (DipIFR) students and holders
If you have passed the DipIFR exam, you automatically meet the minimum entrance requirement for the ACCA Qualification.
If you have not yet passed the DipIFR exam, you can check if you meet the minimum entrance requirements to register for the ACCA Qualification.
It is not possible to change from DipIFR to the ACCA qualification as a transfer. Instead, If you would like to register for the ACCA Qualification, please complete the initial registration application.
